MoNdaY bLueS :.(

It's Monday March 18th, 2013. We're two days away from officially starting Spring and it's still snowing in New York City. At this point I already lost hope. I'm going to have to deal with this weather until at least June. I look at my sandals with pity. If I want my toes to see the outside world either I need to take a flight out of Newark to a lower latitude or I just wear my sandals in New York City risking on loosing a limb. I'm starting to feel the effects of S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder). 

All right I'm being super dramatic; call it PMS or stupid unrealistic deadlines in architectural offices, might even be the late hangover effects of a Saturday night of excesses :) but today I'm feeling so down that I just feel like getting under the covers with my hairy friends (Necio and Necia, my cats. I'm not that lucky to have two human hairy friends to cuddle with). If you are out there feeling the effects of this lousy weather just give me a call. There's nothing that two glasses of red wine can't solve.

Back to the Roof

Alcibiades and I are back to our favorite shooting location: the rooftop. Yes, exploring other locations is fun and shit, but nothing beats the comfort of your home. Is like going to a crowed park in the middle of summer when the temperature is a scorching 90+ degrees to watch your favorite music group versus watching it from your air conditioned living room. Park is fun, but living room is perfection....OK, I'm just being dramatic here, but you get the idea.

I decided to act like a "grown up" and got myself a pair of serious black pumps. Not only they are pretty comfy, but the strap around them makes me feet feel like Anastasia being hugged by Christian Grey. (I'm already in book #2, did anyone finish them all? does he keep beating the hell out of her?)

This seriousness only lasted 10 minutes until I wore my DrMartens.....

So the question is? Who wore it best? DrMartens or Balenciaga? Tell me, I already have my favorite.

Come out and Play!

I'm feeling adventurous lately and have decided to step away from the safeness of my favorite photo shoot location (my building's roof) to start exploring alternative sites where I can scare not only Alcibiades but bystanders and neighbors. With the exception of some people hoping anxiously that I will slip and fall into the Hudson River, most people seemed pretty entertained to have me around acting like a clown. 

I hope you like these pictures, they were done with love. I wish you all a great Easter and just remember to laugh, hug, play, and travel more often; there are still many roofs to see.
